European Project KA1 Erasmus+: Collaborative creation and creativity through music” 2018-1-ES01-KA101-049101, European Community, 2018-2019

The Nuestra Señora del Rosario-Dominicas FEFC school (Paterna) participated in a teacher training program in Sicily, Italy, entitled "Collaborative Creation and Creativity through Music," as part of the KA1 Erasmus+ program.

The objective of this training is for music teachers—in collaboration with the Technological Institute (TEC)—to design musical learning spaces where students can, among other things, create their own musical productions using smartphones, without the need for additional professional musical training.

The Soundcool tool is one that makes it possible to implement this type of methodology in the classroom, with virtual instruments that students use to compose their own melodies. This, in turn, allows them to perform their creations alongside professional musicians.

Therefore, the traditional music classroom becomes a renewed learning space with tools that spark great interest and motivation in students.

It is worth noting that the added value of this initiative is that, in addition to developing musical and technological learning, students open up new career horizons and real employment opportunities, not only as musicians but also as producers, technicians, etc.
This initiative by Dominicas School in the Music area joins the school's daily commitment to effectively adapt to the demands of today's society, and this involves providing students with various strategies to ensure they have a broad education.
